about the randstad employer brand award
The Randstad Employer Brand Awards reflect the appeal of the 75 largest commercial employers in Singapore, recognised by at least 10% of the population. The results of the Randstad Employer Brand Research (REBR) are based on public perception and focus on two main areas:
- overall brand or company awareness
- absolute employer attractiveness
The goal of the research is to identify the factors that job seekers prioritise when searching for their ideal employer of choice, and to measure their perception of commercial companies in Singapore.
To ensure a level playing field for all companies in the survey, the awards are not open for nomination, and the results are solely based on the opinions of the local Singapore workforce, making it the definitive 'People's Choice' award that truly represents the collective voice.
We gathered input from respondents representing diverse regions, ages, and genders, who were asked to identify companies they recognised and would express their interest to work with. This comprehensive process helped to compile the annual list of the largest commercial companies.
The survey then evaluated employee value proposition drivers, such as salary, benefits, work atmosphere, job content, and other factors.
This independent research is the most representative and inclusive employer brand study in the world, reaching out to nearly 163,000 respondents across 32 markets, including 2,753 who are based in Singapore in January 2023.Establishing a robust employer brand is crucial for attracting and retaining talented people.
