● Look through all the products and streamlined which products are necessary/which should go
● Look at company's strategy and direction, work with product teams on the ground and discuss with them. Commands business, have good convincing skills, understanding what internal stakeholder wants
● Drive the development of an overall product strategy the company should build. Identifying large problem areas, developing hypotheses, assumptions, and de-risking the biggest risks.
● Improve products by sharpening product thinking, influencing teams to co-create go-to-market plans to improve product impact and efficiency
● Creating consistent and quality product practices (e.g. common tools, ways-of-working), reviewing funding frameworks and regulations to unblock obstacles while encouraging greater innovation
skills and requirement
● Technical knowledge in product management, including discerning realistic technical requirements and setting the right outcome metrics. Experience in enterprise, backend and data products a plus
● Hunger to learn, energised by large, ambiguous problem spaces and able to independently break it down into workable chunks
● Strong communicator in written, slides or spoken form, with good stakeholder skills
● VC, corporate/business strategy, government experience a plus
