About the job
- Oversee the accurate implementation and continuous improvement of the IFRS 17 data and control processes.
- Lead initiatives to enhance finance processes, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and compliance with IFRS 17.
- Perform in-depth data analysis to identify trends, opportunities for improvement, and key performance metrics.
- Work closely with the IT team to identify and implement necessary IT development enhancements for IFRS 17 processing.
- Design and maintain robust control processes to ensure the integrity of the preparation, review, and reconciliation processes throughout the IFRS 17 cycle.
Skills and experience required
- At least 3-5 years of financial reporting/finance transformation experience in the insurance industry, ideally in IFRS17/Finance process improvement
- Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Big 4 insurance auditors should apply.
