About the job

Oversee the accurate implementation and continuous improvement of the IFRS 17 data and control processes.
Lead initiatives to enhance finance processes, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and compliance with IFRS 17.
Perform in-depth data analysis to identify trends, opportunities for improvement, and key performance metrics.
Work closely with the IT team to identify and implement necessary IT development enhancements for IFRS 17 processing.
Design and maintain robust control processes to ensure the integrity of the preparation, review, and reconciliation processes throughout the IFRS 17 cycle.

Skills and experience required

At least 3-5 years of financial reporting/finance transformation experience in the insurance industry, ideally in IFRS17/Finance process improvement
Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
Ability to communicate clearly and concisely with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Big 4 insurance auditors should apply.
