My client is seeking an experienced Assistant Manager, Regional Cybersecurity to lead the implementation and governance of ISO27001:2022 across the region. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cybersecurity governance, risk management, and compliance, particularly with ISO27001 implementations and recertifications. This role requires an individual with proven project management skills and relevant cybersecurity certifications to contribute to both enterprise cybersecurity and commercial product security.

Lead and drive ISO27001:2022 implementation across the region, ensuring compliance and successful certification.
Manage at least two ISO27001 implementations and one recertification process.
Develop and maintain cybersecurity policies, procedures, and governance frameworks in alignment with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, compliance, risk management, and product teams, to enhance the organization's cybersecurity posture.
Lead cybersecurity risk assessments and audits to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities.
Implement and monitor cybersecurity initiatives to strengthen the security of enterprise systems and commercial products.
Ensure adherence to cybersecurity best practices and continuous improvement of security frameworks.
Provide cybersecurity training and awareness programs for internal stakeholders.
Report on cybersecurity risks, initiatives, and compliance status to senior management and key stakeholders.

skills and experience required
Active certifications in CISM, CISSP, and Project Management (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent). Formal ISO27001 training is a plus.

Strong project management skills with experience in leading cybersecurity initiatives across multiple regions.
Deep understanding of cybersecurity governance, risk management, and compliance.

Strong ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to implement security policies and frameworks effectively.
