About the role
My client is a leading global ICT company with a strong presence across Asia and other international markets.
They are known for providing a comprehensive range of services including advanced telecommunications, digital services, cloud solutions, and cybersecurity, catering to both businesses and consumers.
As part of their expansion, they are currently looking for a Business Development Lead to drive growth in the managed roaming vertical, and expand our footprint in Singapore and international markets.
About the company
Reporting to the Sales Director, your responsibilities would includes
- Lead a team to devise strategies and detailed plans to grow the managed roaming business.
- Identify and explore business opportunities in managed roaming across merchant verticals
- Conduct market research to uncover potential clients and expansion opportunities locally and internationally.
- Prepare and deliver compelling commercial proposals tailored to potential clients' needs.
- Coordinate with Pre-Sales teams to develop technical proposals and solutions for clients.
- Build strong client relationships to close sales deals and manage contracts effectively
- Collaborate with Pre-Sales and Technical teams to onboard new customers, ensuring a smooth transition to managed roaming services.
- Provide after-sales support, including service development, customization, and issue resolution.
- Prepare comprehensive business cases to justify commercial deals and secure internal buy-in.
- Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and performance targets for the managed roaming business.
- Ensure alignment with organizational objectives and contribute to long-term business growth.
Skills and experience required
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Telecommunications, or a related field.
- At least 8 years of experience in sales, business development, or account management, with 3+ years in managed roaming or telecom-related roles.
- Proven track record in closing complex sales deals and managing client relationships.
