I am representing an established organization within the building and construction industry and has recognized the importance of technology and its impact within the industry.
Hence they are looking for a Business Development Manager to assist them to spearhead their market expansion within the local and regional markets.
This would be a pioneer role within the local market , and would require the candidate to be adaptable and agile to a start-up & dynamic environment and having strong project management skills with the ability to manage both internal and external stakeholders and with strong technical knowledge of BIM operations and local market knowledge.
About the job
Reporting to the Senior Director of overseas business expansion, your responsibilities would includes
- Develop and implement comprehensive business development strategies to achieve company growth objectives, emphasizing BIM-related solutions.
- Identify target markets, industries, and clients for expansion efforts.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with new and existing clients, particularly those in the BIM industry.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing insights and recommendations on software and BIM solutions.
- Drive the entire sales cycle from lead generation to closing deals, with a focus on BIM-related projects.
- Identify and establish strategic partnerships with key stakeholders, including industry influencers, partners, and resellers, with a focus on BIM.
- Prepare regular reports on business development activities, sales performance, and market trends, including BIM-specific insights.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to optimize business development efforts.
Skills and experience required
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or a related role within the software or BIM industry and with P&L responsibility
- Strong understanding of the software market, technology trends, and BIM.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
