We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Business Development Manager to drive growth and strengthen our presence in the local food service sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Development & Growth Strategy:
... - Develop and execute a comprehensive business development plan to grow market share within the food service and QSR channels.
- Identify, assess, and pursue new business opportunities, including partnerships with key stakeholders in the food service industry.
- Conduct market analysis to understand trends, customer needs, and competitive dynamics, using insights to inform strategic decision-making.
- Key Account Management:
- Build and nurture strong relationships with key clients, including QSR chains, hotels, restaurants, catering companies, and distributors.
- Understand customer requirements and tailor solutions to meet their specific needs.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements to ensure mutually beneficial partnerships.
- Work closely with clients to launch new products and execute joint marketing initiatives.
- Channel Management & Sales Growth:
- Drive sales and revenue growth within the assigned territory, ensuring achievement of targets and KPIs.
- Expand distribution channels by onboarding new partners and optimizing existing ones.
- Monitor sales performance and provide regular reporting on channel-specific results, opportunities, and challenges.
- Collaboration & Cross-Functional Coordination:
- Collaborate with internal teams, including operations, R&D, and marketing, to ensure seamless delivery of solutions to clients.
- Partner with the marketing team to create targeted campaigns, promotions, and product launches that resonate with food service customers.
- Coordinate with the supply chain team to ensure product availability and timely delivery for all accounts.
- Market Expertise & Insights:
- Stay updated on industry developments, including food trends, regulations, and technological advancements.
- Provide market feedback to senior leadership to guide product development and business strategies.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to promote the brand and strengthen relationships.
Requirements:
Minimum 8 years of experience in business development or sales, with a focus on the food service and QSR sectors.
Proven track record of growing revenue, securing large accounts, and building long-term client relationships.
Skills & Competencies:
Strong understanding of the food service and QSR ecosystem, including operational workflows and decision-making processes.
Exceptional negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills to engage with high-level clients and stakeholders.
Strategic mindset with the ability to identify market opportunities and develop actionable plans.
Hands-on experience in key account management, sales forecasting, and budgeting.
Entrepreneurial spirit with a results-driven approach to achieving business objectives.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. Advanced degree (MBA) is an advantage.
Strong local market knowledge and existing relationships within the food service and QSR sectors are highly preferred.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
