In this position as a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to support revenue growth and to achieve customer satisfaction in the broking team. The ideal incumbent will be expected to provide technical advice for new customers, retaining existing customers and to drive the transformation process in line with the Company’s objectives.
In this position, you will be working with the HOD in developing an overarching view of the company’s broker relationships, facilitating structured access to broking team leads through regular business meetings and engagements.
The successful incumbent will be involved in evaluating, underwriting and quoting risks for commercial classes in line with the company's underwriting guidelines and treaty programme in a timely and efficient manner.

Skills and experience required
- 3+ years of experience as a producing underwriter or business development/distribution
- Strong product knowledge on commercial lines products, focusing on Property & Casualty
- Candidates with broking/broker experience and keen to move to an insurer may apply
- Ability to work independently and build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills
