As they are looking to expand their presence within APAC, they are looking for a passionate and results-driven Business Development Manager to cover their Mid-Market Segment to join their team and contribute to their mission of revolutionizing digital identity verification.
About the role
Reporting to the APAC Operations Manager, your responsibilities would includes
... - Identify, prospect, and build a pipeline of new business opportunities within the mid-market segment across diverse industries such as fintech, BFSI, crypto-currencies, Payments providers etc
- Ability to conduct high-impact outbound activities, including cold calls, email campaigns, and networking events.
- Leverage market research and competitive analysis to craft tailored solutions for potential clients.
- Manage and grow relationships with existing clients, identifying upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their business needs and recommending solutions to drive value.
- Develop long-term partnerships by ensuring client satisfaction and fostering loyalty through regular engagement and proactive problem-solving.
- Develop and execute territory plans, sales strategies, and forecasts to achieve individual and team revenue targets.
- Negotiate and close contracts, ensuring alignment with company objectives and customer needs.
- Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., product, marketing, customer success) to ensure seamless onboarding and delivery of solutions.
- Actively participate in industry events, webinars, and conferences to increase brand visibility and build professional networks.
Skills and experience required
- 5 years of proven sales experience in SaaS, technology, Payment industries, with a focus on mid-market accounts.
- Exceptional presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills and with the ability to balance new business development and account management.
- Ability to generate own leads and market mapping and cover the full sales cycle with minimal supervision
