about the job
- Work closely with Sales and Trading desks to build and ringfence long-term relationships with clients
- Be the Subject Matter Expert with the client onboarding process and regulatory requirements, be it from a AML/KYC, tax or credit perspective
- Carry out process improvement reviews so as to continuously improve client servicing standards
- Facilitate and expedite the process for trades while ensuring risks are minimised
- Participate in new client and product strategy meetings
- Organise weekly pipelines with the necessary stakeholders and management
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to understand requirements for global institutional clients
- Maintain and update client status reports
- Escalate and attend to clients’ queries and/or issues proactively and timely
skills and experience required
- Minimum Diploma in a relevant discipline
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in Client Services, Middle Office, or related functions in either buy-side, Capital Markets or Investment Banking
- Understanding of Financial Markets and products
- Excellent client-servicing skills with a proven track record to service large client relationships
- Strong stakeholder management and presentation skills
- Good communications and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with diverse groups
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications especially Excel and PowerPoint
- Good time management and problem-solving skills
- Possesses attention to detail
- Knowledge in Python and Alteryx will be a plus
