About the role
My client seeking a Cloud Security Lead to drive the design, deployment, and oversight of security measures across cloud environments. This role requires close collaboration with internal teams to safeguard infrastructure and data while proactively addressing security risks. The individual will take charge of defining security strategies, implementing protective controls, conducting risk evaluations, and ensuring compliance with relevant standards.
Skills and Experience needed:
- At least five years of experience in cloud security, focusing on platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Expertise in cloud security models, best practices, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Strong background in security tools and technologies, including IAM, encryption methods, SIEM, IDS/IPS, and vulnerability management.
- Familiarity with industry compliance frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, SOC 2).
- Hands-on experience with automation and scripting (e.g., Python, Shell, Terraform).
- Understanding of Kubernetes security, containerized environments, and microservices.
- Solid grasp of networking principles and operating systems.
- Proficiency in identity management solutions, including RBAC, SSO, MFA, and user lifecycle governance.
