about the job
We are currently looking to hire a Commercial Manager for a global retail / fashion brand. The Commercial Manager will be responsible for driving the business unit by managing the respective product category and taking on sales and profit analysis.
Responsibilities:
- Implement campaigns and promotions that increase sales and satisfy key performance metrics by working closely with the marketing team.
- Track sales results and identify opportunities for expansion based on market and consumer patterns.
- Coming up with campaigns and promotions that will assist in the increase of sales.
- Carrying out long term strategies that are in line with the corporate objectives.
- Increase or streamline the product line to fulfill consumer demands whilst maintaining revenue.
- Collaborate with suppliers to launch new products whilst maintaining unique selling points.
- Identify and integrate new vendors to diversify product offerings and introduce exclusive selections.
- Evaluate vendor performance to maintain supply chain efficiency and minimize potential risks.
- Assess sales data and inventory metrics to ensure optimal stock turnover and product availability.
- Formulate pricing strategies that balance market competitiveness, business objectives, and profitability.
- Ensure seamless execution of merchandising initiatives to enhance in-store presentation.
- Conduct in-depth sales and performance analyses to drive informed business decisions.
- Utilize data-driven insights to refine product selection, promotional tactics, and inventory planning.
- Ad-hoc duties as assigned by the management.
skills and experience required
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing / Business / similar discipline.
- You should ideally have 5 years of experience in category management / buying / merchandising.
- Meticulous and analytical in forecasting and data analysis.
- Able to work independently and function in a dynamic working environment.
