As part of the APAC compliance team, this role will be the key interface with stakeholders for all business communication surveillance and trade compliance matters. This includes regular reviewing on business communication and trade surveillance alerts, maintaining record of data/ filings, conducting investigations and providing compliance training to stakeholders. Working closely with global HQ, you will also assist to identify gaps and areas of risks and develop action plans for corrective measures. Partnering with cross-functional teams to promote a healthy risk culture that aligns with the objective of the business is also a key responsibility of the compliance function.
skills and experience required
You hold a Bachelor's Degree in any discipline with at least 5 years of relevant experience gained in the commodity trading or financial services space. Good working knowledge of EU regulations (REMIT/ MiFID) will be highly regarded. Adaptable, hands-on with strong interpersonal skills, you have a proven track record in building strong working relationships with cross-functional stakeholders, i.e. front office, trade support, counterparts and more.
