about the company My client is a reputable construction firm and service provider. With a long history and global presence, they’re now looking for a Contracts Manager to join their dynamic team about the job
- Responsible for the Company’s estimating functions, cost planning and the development of cost plans and estimates for all projects
- Specific areas of responsibility include preparation of project hard cost, preparation of estimates for budget and cost controls, procurement and preparing or assisting in the preparation of customers or contractor variations
- Managing project budget including
- Taking off quantities for tendering, proposal, variation order and other purpose if necessary
- Update and maintain a cost database and produce cost trends for the Company
- Manage bulk procurement of certain standard goods across different projects
- Attending tender interview, client and consultant meetings
job requirement
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent
- Possesses at least 10 years of working experience in pricing of tender for industrial & warehouse projects
- Relevant experience in various stages of a building project (designing and building)
- Knowledgeable in the application of the various Conditions of Building Contracts commonly adopted locally
- Well versed in Microsoft Office knowledge (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
