about the job
- Building and maintaining client relationships via client visits and calls to maximise business opportunities and making sure new and existing deals align with the Bank’s credit policies
- Underwrite credit proposals and renewals promptly, emphasizing key risks and mitigation strategies.
- Handle KYC/AML/credit risk and credit ratings
- Identify cross-selling opportunities to maximize business returns and servicing clients business needs, transactions and queries
- Spot potential cross-border business opportunities for collaboration with Head Office and overseas branches
about the manager / team
Part of a stable team, this role reports to the Team Lead.
skills & experience required
- Degree in Accountancy, Business Management, Banking & Finance and Economics
- At least 4 years of experience as a Relationship Manager in Corporate Banking
- Knowledge in trade finance, bilateral and syndicated loans and other corporate banking products
- Experience in credit analysis, financial spreading, able to read and interpret financial statements
- Mandarin proficiency as the candidate is required to write credit applications in Chinese and communicate with native Mandarin speaking clients
