about the job
- Design and implement secure authentication and authorization frameworks for internal and external systems.
- Oversee and ensure the security architecture of cloud transitions, including Azure, Teams/O365, and iManage Cloud.
- Identify, assess, and communicate security risks effectively to all stakeholders.
- Stay updated on emerging security threats, trends, and best practices.
- Analyze data collected from Data Loss Prevention (DLP) systems to ensure compliance with firm policies.
- Define and manage DLP policies and incident response workflows for DLP-related security events.
- Develop and maintain metrics to measure the effectiveness of DLP solutions.
- Assist in the preparation, approval, and implementation of firm-wide Information Security Policies.
- Conduct risk assessments for vendors, projects, and systems to mitigate potential threats.
- Detect, respond, and manage information security incidents within the firm’s IT environment.
- Coordinate and execute the firm’s incident response plan, collaborating with IT and security teams.
- Identify root causes of security incidents and provide recommendations for mitigation.
- Manage the review of the firm’s security program by independent auditors and ensure necessary improvements are implemented.
- Monitor physical data security measures, including backup storage, and recommend enhancements where necessary.
- Participate in the development of security policies to meet client and compliance requirements.
- Ensure monitoring and alerting systems align with business needs.
- Develop and execute business continuity and disaster recovery plans.
skills and experience required
- Strong understanding of cloud security (Azure, O365, iManage Cloud) and DLP solutions.
- Experience in security policy development, incident response, and compliance frameworks.
- Strong knowledge of authentication/authorization protocols, risk assessments, and security best practices.
- CISSP, CISM, or equivalent) preferred.
