This role is positioned within the investment team, requiring a strong foundation in both investment knowledge and technical skills.
The primary responsibility is building tools and reports for the APAC Investment Team, which covers Singapore, Hong Kong, Thailand, Japan, and the Middle East. The role requires advanced proficiency in Microsoft Power BI to design, develop, and optimize reports and datasets.
skills and experience required:
- Power BI experience and able to build the dashboards
- Proficiency in M Query and Power Query for data extraction and cleaning
- Building datasets and reports
- Advanced knowledge of DAX for custom fields and interactive features
- Experience with "chaining" multiple semantic models/datasets via DirectQuery
- Ability to employ strategies to improve performance of complex reports
- Experience with front-end JavaScript frameworks like ReactJS, NodeJS, Python, and PostgreSQL backend is an added advantage.
