About Our Client
Our client is leading logistics business with strong global reputation and footprints. Currently, they are inviting a new Privacy Counsel to join their dynamic global legal operations.

Responsibilities
As the key interface for all data privacy matters, you will be responsible in advising on global and regional data protection regulations and legal risks. You will work closely with global stakeholders to strategise and roll out privacy policies, procedures and new contract clauses as part of the global compliance initiatives. You will also monitor and identify potential risks and gaps and provide remedial measures to the business.

Requirements
You are a qualified lawyer at least 5 years of post-qualification experience gained in reputable law firms and in-house legal environment. Strong working knowledge of data protection laws is a pre-requisite for this role. You should also come with strong analytical skills and a proactive approach with the ability to translate complex legal intricacies to layman terms for effective communication with business teams.
