This role supports the Regulatory Compliance team, with a focus on data protection, and requires close collaboration with senior management and other business units. The key responsibilities include:
- Ensuring compliance with PDPA by monitoring data policies, identifying risks, and managing privacy documentation.
- Conducting audits, addressing data protection issues, and managing data breach incidents.
- Serving as a contact for data privacy queries, promoting compliance culture, and providing regulatory advice and training.
- Developing compliance programs and addressing any non-compliance areas.
Skills and experience required
- At least 5 years of experience in regulatory compliance, particularly in data protection.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, and ability to present complex ideas.
- Possess strong understanding of insurance regulations.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, influencing, and relationship-building skills.
- Self-motivated, independent, adaptable, and strategic thinker able to work with minimal supervision.
