We are seeking a talented and motivated DevOps Engineer to join a team responsible for designing, delivering, and maintaining Customer Experience (CX) solutions. In this role, you will work on the management and operations of a global IVR system, ensuring the smooth deployment and performance of applications across AWS and on-premises environments. You will play an important role in monitoring the stability and performance of the IVR system across all regions, including AMR, EMEIA, and JAPAC. Your responsibilities will also include responding to system needs in a timely manner, with occasional evening and weekend work depending on business requirements.

skills and experience required
The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:
- Strong familiarity with AWS services such as S3, EC2, Git, Auto Scaling, CloudFormation, and CloudWatch
- Proficiency in Unix-based operating systems (MacOS and Linux)
- Knowledge of MySQL commands and syntax
- A good understanding of basic networking tools and commands (nslookup, ping, netcat, traceroute, tcpdump, etc.)
- Ability to configure parameters for AWS Lambdas and troubleshoot related issues
- Experience with promoting IVR code in Amazon Connect
- Strong team coordination and collaboration skills
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with clients and external partners effectively
desired experience
- Familiarity with Apache Tomcat and Apache HTTP Server
- Experience with Cisco Splunk querying
- Familiarity with Genesys Configuration Manager
- Basic understanding of Session Initiation Protocol (SIP)
