about the job
As the Digital Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for the agency’s digital marketing of a premier football platform overseeing digital marketing strategies for multiple football tournaments within ASEAN, and ensuring engagement and visibility for sponsors. You will manage all digital content, working to drive growth in followers and fan engagement, while executing SEO, website management, digital campaigns, and performance marketing across all digital platforms. Key responsibilities include:
... - Digital Strategy & Execution: Lead and execute digital marketing strategies, aligning them with business goals and fan engagement objectives. Manage campaigns across social media, websites, and email for football tournaments. Oversee performance marketing efforts (paid ads, social media ads) to ensure ROI and alignment with sponsorships.
- Website Management: Manage website content, ensuring it is up-to-date with tournament information, live stats, and schedules, optimized for desktop and mobile audiences etc
- SEO: Oversee SEO strategy to increase visibility and traffic across all digital platforms.
- Email Marketing & CRM: Drive email campaigns to engage fans and increase loyalty. Manage CRM system to ensure effective segmentation and communication for fan retention.
- Sponsorship Fulfillment & Revenue Generation: Work with the sponsorship team to create and execute digital strategies, ensuring asset fulfillment across channels. Monitor and optimize sponsorship performance, identifying opportunities for digital revenue generation.
- Collaboration with Digital Media Agency: Partner with an external agency to implement digital marketing strategies, ensuring alignment with internal goals. Manage agency relationships to ensure timely and effective execution of campaigns.
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Track and analyze the performance of campaigns and social media efforts using tools like Google Analytics and CRM insights. Provide regular reports on campaign effectiveness and fan engagement.
skills and experience required
- Bachelor's Degree from a recognised institution is highly preferred.
- At least 5 years of proven experience in digital marketing, preferably in the sports or entertainment industry.
- Expertise in SEO, social media, email marketing, performance marketing, and CRM systems.
- Strong experience in website management, including design, layout, hyperlinks etc.
- Passion and strong interest in sports, particularly football, is a strong added advantage
- Ability to collaborate with both internal teams and external partners/agencies.
- Strong analytical skills and experience with data-driven decision making.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and comfortable working independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong time management and communication skills to interface between internal stakeholders and clients
