Reporting to the Lead Counsel, you will manage all employment and labour matters (contentious and non-contentious) across Asia-Pacific and European markets. This includes advising on employment law and employee relation matters, reviewing and improving global policies and handbooks as well as delivering trainings to business units on employment-related topics. You will also be involved in M&A transactions, investigations and restructuring matters (if any) to advice on HR integration & retention matters and harmonisation of employment terms.
Requirements
You are a common law qualified lawyer with at least 5 years of post-qualification experience. Strong working knowledge in employment law and regulatory framework is a pre-requisite for this role. Candidates with prior global/ regional experience in an in-house environment will be viewed favourably. Equipped with strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex legal intricacies to layman terms, you are capable in building strong relationships with global cross-functional stakeholders to effectively advise the business.
