We are partnering with a global leader in technology and manufacturing to hire an ESG Manager for their new plant in Vietnam. This role will be pivotal in shaping and implementing the company's sustainability strategy, ensuring compliance with environmental, social, and governance (ESG) standards while driving impactful initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Environmental Sustainability
- Develop and execute strategies to minimize the plant’s environmental footprint, including energy efficiency, waste management, and carbon emissions reduction.
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and lead audits and sustainability reporting.
- Drive green initiatives such as renewable energy adoption and circular economy practices.
Social Responsibility
- Foster a safe, diverse, and inclusive workplace by implementing DEI and employee welfare policies.
- Strengthen community engagement through social impact programs, volunteering, and corporate philanthropy.
- Ensure ethical labor practices across the supply chain, maintaining high social responsibility standards.
Corporate Governance & Compliance
- Oversee governance frameworks to ensure ethical and legal compliance.
- Identify and manage ESG-related risks, implementing mitigation strategies.
- Maintain transparency through structured ESG reporting to stakeholders.
Strategic & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with internal teams, investors, regulatory bodies, and NGOs to advance ESG initiatives.
- Monitor ESG rating systems and evolving global sustainability policies to align corporate strategies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher.
- 10 years of professional experience, including 5+ years in ESG management.
- Strong understanding of ESG frameworks, corporate governance, and sustainability compliance.
- Experience in corporate or project management is preferred.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and leadership skills.
