We are seeking experienced Marine Field Service Engineer to join our client’s team. The ideal candidates will be responsible for the commissioning, troubleshooting, and repair of marine generators. Hands-on experience with marine generator assembly and repair, as well as familiarity with marine electronics and automation systems, is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide standby support and 24/7 emergency call services for customer support.
- Deliver after-sales technical support, site recovery, and maintenance services to distributors and end customers.
- Perform installation, commissioning, and on-site training to support customers as per project scope.
- Generate systematic service reports for customers.
- Investigate and resolve customer complaints related to product failures.
- Analyze root causes of failures and recommend effective solutions.
- Assess the extent of damage and repairs for warranty claims from distributors.
- Maintain close working relationships with key customers to ensure issues are resolved.
- Develop and update service training materials and technical documents.
- Provide targeted training to distributors and dealers on service and troubleshooting skills to optimize service levels.
Qualifications:
- Diploma or degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
- Willingness to travel frequently within the Asia Pacific and Southeast Asia regions.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a team-oriented mindset.
- Excellent customer service orientation with enthusiasm for power generation products and control systems.
- Candidates with equivalent professional backgrounds will be considered.
- Prior experience with electrical and control systems is advantageous.
