guidance to the Finance team. You will support the Team Lead in managing day-to-day tasks, lead and mentor a team of Finance professionals, and ensure the effective management of grant-related financial processes. Your responsibilities will include budgeting and projecting grants, preparing and reviewing financial reports for accuracy, and performing in-depth analyses. You will also play a key role in advising on best practices, assessing and improving workflows to enhance compliance and operational efficiencies, and contributing to various ad hoc projects. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in grant finance and procurement, as this is a core aspect of the role, along with excellent interpersonal skills to manage relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
Skills and experience required
A recognized degree in accounting, ACCA, or an equivalent qualification, coupled with at least 10 years of relevant experience is required. Previous experience in managing grants or hands-on accounts payable is essential due to the specific requirements of the role.
