About the job
- Preparing journal entries, GST reports, and computing income tax for Singapore and Malaysia.
- Managing intercompany reconciliations, accounts receivable (AR), accounts payable (AP), and cashflow, covering both trade and non-trade postings.
- Managing commissions and claims payouts, and performing monthly bank reconciliations.
- Supporting the Finance Manager on financial reporting and other statutory duties, including coordination with auditors.
Skills and experience required
- Diploma in Accountancy & Finance
- At least 5 years of experience with full sets of accountants
- Experience handling high volumes of transactions
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, and accounting software such as SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, or other ERP systems.
- Familiarity with automation tools to streamline processes is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve discrepancies quickly.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines.
