They are currently seeking a Finance Specialist to join their APAC regional team. This role requires a hands-on and independent approach to manage a full spectrum of finance tasks, from financial reporting and reconciliation to accounts payable and receivable. You will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate financial operations while collaborating with both local and remote teams.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for handling the full set of accounts, including vendor payment processing, expense claim management, intercompany billing, and monthly reconciliation tasks. You will also prepare tax and audit schedules, manage bank correspondence, and ensure compliance with company policies. This role involves managing the monthly closing process, maintaining proper financial records, and working closely with the sales and customer service teams to manage collections and receivables.
Skills and experience required
- Degree/Diploma holder in Finance, Accounting or relevant disciplines with professional qualifications
- Prior experience with SAP or other ERP system is highly desirable
- Regional experience with the ability to work independently with remote supervision
- Relevant years of relevant accounting experience, IRAS reporting and understanding of taxation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration
- High attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting
