This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled and driven professional to join our finance team in a critical role that ensures the seamless management of financial operations, reporting, and compliance. This role plays a pivotal part in financial management and reporting, involving the preparation and analysis of financial data, customer invoicing, month-end closing activities, and consolidated financial reporting. You will collaborate closely with business units and corporate finance teams to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting while also supporting audit and tax-related processes.

Reporting to the Regional Financial Controller, you will be responsible for preparing detailed account analyses, reconciliations, and financial reports to support strategic decision-making, as well as generating monthly management reports, budgets, and forecasts. The role involves consolidating financial reports for the group, reviewing submissions from business units for accuracy, and ensuring compliance with reporting requirements. You will manage customer invoicing and the accounts receivable ledger in adherence to accounting standards, while handling month-end closing activities, including journal preparation and general ledger updates. Additionally, you will coordinate audit-related activities, draft statutory accounts in line with financial standards, and assist with tax compliance by providing necessary documentation and collaborating with tax consultants. Your contributions will ensure smooth financial operations and compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
Skills and experience required
- Degree holder in Finance, accounting, or relevant disciplines with professional qualifications (e.g CA, CPA, ACCA, or equivalent).
- Relevant years of experience in large-scale organisation
- In-depth understanding of statutory, compliance, and financial reporting requirements.
- Proficiency in current accounting standards and practices, as well as taxation regulations.
- Strong and effective communicator with demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
