About the job
This is a highly independent role. You are required to monitor and report on risks and the regulatory environment to support strategic decisions, fostering a strong risk and compliance culture within the company. This includes:
- Deliver risk management services and foster a strong risk culture.
- Monitor risks to support strategic decisions.
- Ensure compliance with policies, regulations, and group guidelines.
- Oversee ORSA, Business Continuity Plan, and risk governance processes.
- Review and update risk appetite, register, and policies.
Skills and experience required
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 12 years of compliance experience at a senior level in the general insurance or reinsurance industry.
- Experience managing a professional team is ideal.
- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and industry standards
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret complex regulations and assess their impact on business operations.
