The HRBP will serve as a strategic partner to the leadership and staff within the organization, supporting and implementing human resources strategies that align with the organization’s mission and values. The HRBP works with line managers to understand and prioritise critical skills and talent that are necessary for the future. He/She maps the manpower and talent pool to meet immediate and future needs.
Strategic HR Partnership:
- Collaborate with senior leadership to understand business goals and challenges, providing insights and HR solutions to support the achievement of the organization’s objectives.
- Act as a trusted advisor to managers and department heads, providing guidance on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Contribute to the development of strategic initiatives, helping to shape a positive and sustainable workplace culture that aligns with the mission.
Employee Engagement & Retention:
- Develop and implement employee engagement initiatives that promote staff satisfaction, well-being, and productivity.
- Conduct regular employee surveys and focus groups to assess morale, identify concerns, and propose actionable solutions.
- Lead initiatives to improve retention, especially focusing on maintaining a strong, mission-driven workforce.
Talent Acquisition & Development:
- Oversee the recruitment process, ensuring that the organization attracts top talent, particularly individuals who are passionate about the sector and the organization's mission.
- Work closely with hiring managers to develop effective recruitment strategies and build diverse candidate pipelines.
- Lead onboarding processes to ensure a smooth integration for new hires, ensuring they understand organizational culture and values.
- Support the development and execution of employee training and professional development programs.
Performance Management:
- Support managers in setting clear, measurable goals for staff and monitor performance to ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
- Provide coaching and feedback to employees and managers to enhance performance and drive accountability.
- Support performance review processes, including setting performance improvement plans and ensuring fair and consistent evaluations.
HR Metrics and Reporting:
- Track and report on HR metrics, such as turnover rates, employee satisfaction, and diversity statistics, to inform strategic decision-making.
- Provide regular reports to leadership on HR performance and areas for improvement.
skills and experience required
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 6 years of relevant HR experience.
- Excellent communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Committed and can-do attitude.
- Have a curious mind and stay abreast of emerging trends and developments.
