Reporting into the General Manager, you will manage a team of 10 and support a company size of 750+ employees. In addition, you will be:
- Responsible for driving effective human resources programs, processes and initiatives in alignment with the business’ operating plans and priorities.
- Responsibility and oversight of all aspects of Human Resources including HR operations, performance management, compensation and benefits, employee relations, talent management and training
- Work closely with the General Manager and senior leadership team to ensure continuous excellence in SOPs, guidelines and operations
- Manage Labor-Management Liaison for collective bargaining, union activities, annual increment, labor relations
- Creating and implementing welfare and wellness initiatives
skills and experience required
- Min Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or equivalent
- 12+ years’ experience within a Generalist HR position, with min. 5 years’ experience within a management capacity
- Experience within the hospitality, services and / or F&B sector is essential
- Track record in leading HR and people strategies, managing full end-to-end HR, achieving company’s objectives and targets
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to interact with employees of all levels and gradings
- Familiar with all local employment laws as per Employment Act, Industrial Relations Act, CPF Act and Workmen’s Compensation Act
- Experienced working and liaising with the Union
- Passionate about people and excellent service levels and standards
