Reporting to the HR Director, you will be responsible for two key areas:
Compensation & Benefits:
- Ensure compliance with legal statutory regulations (e.g., MOM, RBA) and global requirements in Compensation & Benefits (C&B).
- Benchmark compensation packages against companies in manufacturing, contract manufacturing, and semiconductor industries to maintain competitiveness.
- Oversee and ensure timely execution of the annual merit increment and appraisal process.
- Propose competitive salary adjustments for promotions, upgrades, and other cases.
- Plan and execute bonus proposals, ensuring payouts align with guidelines and approved budgets.
- Drive and participate in the annual budgeting exercise for Compensation & Benefits.
- Stay updated on market trends and government regulations affecting compensation and benefits systems.
- Develop and maintain HR-related procedures and documentation for the C&B function
Learning & Development:
- Oversee employee training and development needs to enhance skills and career growth, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Act as an internal consultant to implement learning solutions, identify training needs using competency models, and recommend relevant programs.
skills and experience required
- Degree in HR Management or equivalent
- At least 5 years of managerial experience, experience in the manufacturing industry preferred
- Proficient in Singapore employment laws, HR best practices, C&B analysis, and training-related functions.
- Strong analytical, interpersonal, and excellent communication skills (both oral and written); meticulous and open-minded with a positive attitude.
- Knowledge and experience with Responsible Business Alliance (RBA) requirements is beneficial.
