About the job
The Audit Lead will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive, risk-based internal audit plan for audits across Singapore, Southeast Asia, and Group Assurance projects, with potential support for Technology audits. This role involves leading a team, overseeing the completion of audits and special projects, and assessing the effectiveness of internal controls, risk management, and governance practices. The Audit Lead will identify opportunities for improvements, provide actionable recommendations, and present audit reports to regional executives and the Audit Committee. Additionally, they will serve as a strategic partner, collaborate with external auditors and regulators, ensure adherence to internal auditing standards, provide team training, and benchmark practices against industry standards, while also leading investigations and handling ad-hoc duties as assigned.The ideal candidate is one who is adaptable, flexible and have excellent stakeholder management skills to work with senior leaders.
Skills and experience required
A recognized degree in accounting, ACCA, or an equivalent qualification, with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience. We are also open to high-performing candidates at the Big4 Audit Manager level who are interested in transitioning to a commercial role.
