- IT functions, including hardware maintenance, software updates, system installations, and data migration.
- Provide support for hardware like printers, PCs, laptops, and smartphones, and collaborate on the installation and configuration of IT hardware.
- Regularly maintain and back up the company’s IT network and desktop systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve user issues, identify recurring system problems, and work on root cause analysis.
- Oversee system setups and upgrades, ensuring efficient utilization.
- Manage IT equipment inventory, documentation, and ensure compliance with licensing and IT policies.
- Support users with application systems and collaborate with infrastructure teams.
- Perform other ad-hoc tasks as required.
skills and experience required
Minimum of 3 years of technical support experience, primarily in a Microsoft environment. Hands-on experience with VMware ESXi and vCenter.
Knowledge in firewalls, network switches, and basic networking concepts (CCNA is a plus).
Proficient in PowerShell/Batch scripting. Able to identify and resolve security issues, including viruses and spyware.
