About Our Client
Our client is one of the leading commodity trading firms in Asia. As part of their global expansion strategy, they are looking for a Legal Counsel to join their robust legal operations.

Responsibilities
Reporting to the Group General Counsel, you will provide strategic legal advice to the business, supporting the business to drive stronger commercial growth whilst mitigating risks to the business. You will be responsible for drafting and advising commercial and procurement contracts, driving negotiations, refining regional compliance policies. You will also advise on any potential and existing dispute matters and corporate transactions, i.e. setting up new entities, investments and cross-border merger & acquisitions.

Requirements
You are a common law qualified lawyer with at least 4 years of post-qualification experience. Prior in-house experience in the commodity trading space will be viewed favourably. You are independent, agile and energetic, you thrive in a fast-paced environment.
