About Our Client
Our client is a financially robust investment company with a focus on the energy and utilities sector globally. Due to the growth in the business, they have a newly created role for a Legal Counsel to be part of their growing international operations.

Responsibilities
Reporting to the CEO and partnering with cross functional stakeholders, you will focus on supporting the evaluation of investments in the energy and utilities industry. You will also be responsible for the drafting and reviewing of a wide range of commercial contracts that arise from the course of the business and provide legal advice for any corporate matters that arise including but not limited to employment, data privacy and ensuring compliance with company and regulatory requirements.

Requirements
You are admitted to the Bar with at least 5 years of post-qualification experience in transactional matters - mergers and acquisitions or investments in the energy and utilities sector. You have a strong technical background, are commercial minded, hands-on, independent, flexible and adaptable.
