Our client is a Financial Institution seeking an in-house legal counsel for a 6-months maternity cover.

about the job

• Review, draft and negotiate various legal documentation including loan agreements, banking facilities, trade documents, standard documentation, outsourcing agreements and service level agreements

• Review term sheets, legal opinions, and non-disclosure agreements for lending facilities

• Advise on transactions, products, agreements as well as bank policies and procedures

• Interpret legislation and provide guidance and advice on implementation

• Provide guidance and advice to other departments on legal issues in relation to the Bank’s business

• Assist the Head of Legal on matters involving the legal department of the Bank

skills and experience required

• Bachelors of Law degree
• Minimum 2 years of legal experience, preferably within a Financial Institution
• Good knowledge of legal and regulatory risks
• Willing to learn, adaptable, meticulous and detailed
