As the Events & Marketing Specialist, you oversee the comprehensive planning of the company’s events within the Asia-Pacific region. This role will be crucial in ensuring that all events, whether in-person or virtual, meet the organisation’s strategic objectives and enhance their brand presence. Key responsibilities include:
- End to end planning of both physical and/or virtual events For APAC.
- Management of event timelines, promotional plans and collaterals, as well launching of event promotion across marketing channels (such as website, email, social media etc.)
- Work with cross-functional teams (marketing, business units etc) to ensure proper planning of events, and adherence of processes and events to global branding and process guidelines
- Ensure timely submission of event requests from stakeholders to optimise promotions.
- Manage the final approval of all event marketing materials.
- Liaise with vendors and venues to ensure the smooth running of events
- Management of events through the use of event management softwares (e.g. On24, Cvent etc) including testing and registration among others.
- Support events where required
skills and experience required
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
- At least 3 years proven experience in a B2B Marketing and Events role, with strong event management experience and ideally with prior financial services experience
- Experience with event management software (Cvent, On24)
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational and event planning skills.
- Creative, strategic thinker with a keen eye for detail.
