Job Overview:
We are looking for a Metrology Process Development Engineer to contribute to the advancement of high-density memory and semiconductor technologies. This role involves working with state-of-the-art metrology techniques to enhance process efficiencies and optimize manufacturing performance before full-scale production. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams and technology partners to develop precise measurement solutions for critical semiconductor processes.
Key Responsibilities:
... - Develop and refine metrology methodologies such as SEM CD, OCD, and other advanced inspection techniques for next-generation memory technologies.
- Work closely with process integration and engineering teams to improve inline defect detection and yield analysis.
- Utilize data-driven modeling and metrology insights to address process deviations and electrical performance issues.
- Collaborate with global technology teams to assess new process capabilities and define metrology requirements for future technology nodes.
- Partner with vendors to explore and influence next-generation metrology solutions.
- Support process qualification frameworks to ensure successful technology transfer and manufacturing ramp-up.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (or a related technical field).
- Experience with semiconductor metrology or inspection tools is preferred.
- Strong data analysis and programming skills, with a willingness to apply coding/scripting techniques.
- Hands-on experience in defect analysis, process optimization, or semiconductor characterization is advantageous.
- Willingness to travel for training and collaboration.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
