You will manage, oversee and enhance business operations particularly in accounts receivables, underwriting, credit control services, and policy administration. Key responsibilities includes:
- Oversee outsourced credit control services, ensuring timely collections and compliance with credit policies.
- Monitor and manage receivables and aged debts, addressing issues and implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Ensure efficient underwriting processes, support policy issuance, and maintain proper documentation for finance procedures.
- Lead efforts to streamline processes and improve accuracy.
- Lead the enhancement and testing of policy administration systems, ensuring seamless integration and system improvements to meet business needs.
- Liaise with Head Office and ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks, including the MAS register.
- Manage regulatory submissions and ensure timely completion.
- Prepare operational updates for the CEO, including performance reports, risk assessments, and progress on key projects.
- Provide strategic insights to support decision-making and continuous improvement.
- Identify and implement improvements to operational processes, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and alignment with business objectives.
Skills and experience required
- At least 8 years of experience in operations, underwriting, or finance within the insurance or reinsurance industry.
- Proven experience managing outsourced credit control services and overseeing accounts receivables processes.
- Strong background in policy administration systems and system enhancement projects.
- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks, including liaising with regulatory bodies and maintaining compliance.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience in preparing executive-level reports and supporting senior management decision-making.
