As an Enterprise Architect, you will be tasked with evaluating the company’s current Server and Storage technology stack, identifying areas for optimization and improvement. You will work closely with stakeholders to define both business and technical requirements, creating architectural models to guide the design and execution of strategic initiatives. Additionally, you will provide leadership to development teams, ensuring that solutions are scalable, secure, and adhere to industry best practices.

Responsibilities:
- Lead the development, recommendation, and execution of the company’s technology strategy and roadmap for the Server and Storage domain.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and define both business and technical requirements.
- Design architectural frameworks and models that direct the design and implementation of solutions, ensuring they meet desired outcomes.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to technical and application delivery teams on Server and Storage solutions.
- Ensure that solutions are scalable, secure, and in line with industry best practices.
- Assess and evaluate new technologies, providing recommendations and influencing IT adoption.
- Conduct technology assessments and offer recommendations for enhancing the company’s Network and Security technology stack.
- Work with cross-functional teams to define and implement data governance and information security policies.

This role
skills and experience required
- At least 8 years of experience in complex Server and Storage projects, including delivery consultation and leadership in an Enterprise Architect role.
- Strong understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks and methodologies in designing and implementing Server and Storage solutions, including HyperConverge, Containers, Virtualization, SAN, NAS, HyperV, and VMware.
- In-depth knowledge of Server and Storage technologies and services.
- Experience with modern practices and technologies in Server and Storage.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of Server, Cloud, and Storage technologies (e.g., MS HyperV, VMware, Redhat, HyperConverge, SAN, NAS).
- Certifications from major Server and Storage OEMs such as DELL, HPE, Lenovo, Nutanix, Windows, Redhat, VMware, etc.
- Familiarity with technical and critical infrastructure stacks within government environments, including data classification compliance (e.g., IM8), Government Commercial Cloud (GCC), and/or Confidential Cloud Computing.
