They are seeking a Regional Bid Manager to lead the preparation and management of technology services proposals and bids. This key position combines a strong technical foundation, commercial insights, and excellent project management skills to deliver high-quality proposals aimed at securing enterprise technology contracts.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the full end-to-end bid process, including coordinating with internal teams, developing winning bid strategies, and ensuring proposals are aligned with company objectives and market trends. This role requires someone who can work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and lead cross-functional teams toward successful bid outcomes. Key responsibilities include:
- Lead and manage all phases of the bid management process, including analyzing customer requirements, developing bid strategies, coordinating proposal development, and finalizing submissions.
- Assemble and lead a team of experts across multiple functions to create competitive and compelling proposals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (solutions architects, product specialists, finance, legal, etc.) to develop and finalize bid responses.
- Analyze market conditions, customer needs, and the competitive landscape to shape the bid strategy.
- Develop and implement bid management procedures and processes to ensure consistency and quality.
- Manage timelines to ensure proposals are submitted accurately and on time, with all internal stakeholders aligned.
- Monitor bid progress, identify risks, and ensure proactive solutions are implemented.
- Support pricing strategy and commercial proposals, working closely with finance and solution teams.
- Coordinate and lead executive reviews, incorporating feedback and ensuring alignment with company guidelines.
- Maintain and improve bid management tools and knowledge resources for ongoing efficiency and proposal quality.
skills and experience required
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Business, Engineering, Computer Science, etc.)
- Certifications in proposal management (APMP) or project management (PMP) are a huge added advantage
- At least 4 years experience in end-to-end bid management within technology or telecommunications.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Prior experience in enterprise technology solutions, including cloud services, managed services, and networking.
- Strong entrepreneurial desire & solution driven approach to business conversations, with strong communication skills to work with cross-functional stakeholders
