As they are looking to scale beyond Singapore, they are looking for a Regional Business Development Manager who will play a critical role in driving expansion efforts across Southeast Asia and beyond
About the role
Reporting to the founder, your responsibilities will includes
- Design and execute regional expansion strategies, identifying high-growth markets and opportunities across Southeast Asia and beyond
- Lead high-level negotiations and relationship-building with strategic partners including government agencies, transport authorities, infrastructure players, and technology platforms
- Conduct in-depth market research, competitor benchmarking, and regulatory mapping to guide entry strategies and positioning
- Develop and execute partnership frameworks and go-to-market models tailored to each regional market
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product, operations, and marketing teams to ensure alignment of business development efforts with product-market fit
- Serve as a regional brand ambassador at key industry conferences, partner events, and forums
- Develop compelling business cases, commercial models, investment decks, and proposals for internal and external stakeholders
Skills and experience required
- Relevant experience in B2B business development, market expansion, strategic partnerships, or commercial roles
- Proven track record of driving cross-border growth and closing complex deals in Southeast Asia or similar emerging markets
- Strong stakeholder management experience, with the ability to engage and influence senior-level decision makers across public and private sectors
