key responsibilities:
- Category Leadership: Oversee the Training category lifecycle for SEA, translating regional strategies from Emerging Markets (EM) Business Units into actionable plans.
- Range Planning: Develop and hand over range plans to country teams, ensuring alignment with SEA strategies and goals.
- Data Analysis: Conduct in-depth category analyses, including sell-through performance, pricing strategy, segmentation compliance, and forecasting to guide decision-making.
- Pricing and Forecasting: Support local pricing strategies to ensure market alignment and harmonization, while managing volume forecasts to meet margin and sales targets.
- Product Lifecycle Management: Monitor markdowns and manage the product lifecycle process to optimize clearance and sell-through rates across SEA markets.
- Process Management: Lead the In Season Creation process for SEA, ensuring seamless execution and adherence to timelines.
- Sample Management: Oversee sample orders for pre-sell and sales meetings.
- System Oversight: Ensure all global systems and local platforms are accurately updated with country-specific information.
- Market Insights: Gather competitive and market intelligence at the category level to provide actionable feedback to EM teams.
qualifications and experience:
- At least 5 years of experience in merchandising, product management, or a related field
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Demonstrated experience in category management, ranging, merchandising, or account marketing
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a relevant discipline is preferred
- Strong analytical and numerical capabilities, with a structured and process-oriented mindset
- Fact-based decision-making skills, supported by robust data analysis
- Excellent collaboration and communication abilities
- Familiarity with various marketing disciplines such as merchandising, brand communications, or sales is an advantage
