As part of their succession planning, they are seeking an experienced and dynamic Regional Sales Director to drive their sales strategy at an organizational level across the SEA region.
This role requires a leader with a proven ability to manage large-scale, complex deals while driving organizational-level sales growth.
The successful candidate will lead a team of up to 10 sales professionals and work collaboratively with cross-regional and functional teams to deliver exceptional value to clients and achieve ambitious revenue goals.
About the role
Reporting to the VP of Sales, your responsibilities would includes
... - Develop and execute a comprehensive regional sales strategy to drive both individual and team revenue targets and to ensure alignment with the company's broader business objectives.
- Lead negotiations for large, multi-stakeholder deals valued above $5 million-$15 million averagely, ensuring they address wide organizational needs and provide impactful solutions to customers in key sectors like telecommunications, aerospace, and manufacturing.
- Identify and capitalize on new market opportunities within SEA, creating go-to-market strategies for cutting-edge technologies and applications.
- Work closely with marketing, product development, and customer support teams to align sales initiatives with product capabilities and ensure seamless customer experiences.
- Recruit, mentor, and manage a high-performing sales team, equipping them with the tools and training needed to handle complex organizational-level engagements.
- Deliver precise sales forecasts and insightful market analysis to senior leadership, using data to inform strategic adjustments and optimize sales processes.
Skills and experience required
- Minimum of 12 years of sales experience, with at least 5 years in a sales leadership role.
- Proven ability to lead a team of up to 10 sales professionals, driving both individual and team success in meeting and exceeding revenue targets.
- Strong track record of both individual and team sales performance, with experience in managing and closing large, complex deals averaging above $5 to $ 15 million in value
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with customers at all levels.
- Willingness to travel across the SEA region as required.
