About the Role:

This role focuses on commercial strategy execution, new business acquisition, and technical sales support, working closely with customers and internal teams to develop tailored solutions. Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Customer Management
- Execute regional sales and commercial strategies, ensuring revenue and volume targets are met.
- Identify and acquire new customers while strengthening relationships with existing accounts.
- Manage pricing negotiations within established guidelines.
- Provide technical sales support, addressing customer inquiries and collaborating with technical teams for in-depth assistance.
- Introduce new products and solutions in the Polymers & Coatings segment.
- Attend and represent the company at trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events.
- Oversee customer complaints and claims, ensuring timely resolution.
- Support logistics and customer service teams in coordinating order fulfillment and sample shipments.
- Maintain sales data and pipeline in CRM (e.g., Salesforce) to ensure comprehensive reporting.
Market & Competitive Analysis
- Analyze market trends and business opportunities in key industry segments.
- Monitor and report on competitor activities and regional market developments.
- Track market share performance and assess potential strategic partnerships or acquisitions.
Budgeting & Forecasting
- Develop and submit annual sales budget proposals for assigned territories.
- Provide monthly sales forecasts to support operational and strategic planning.
Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree in Material Science, Chemistry or a relevant field
- Technical background in Polymers, Coatings, or CASE industries, combined with commercial expertise.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in technical sales, business development, or account management within the Polymers & Coatings sector.
- Ability to provide basic technical guidance to R&D teams while maintaining a commercial focus.
- Strong problem-solving, customer engagement, and negotiation skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively across the Asia Pacific region (minimum 50% of the time).
