about the role
The Senior Manager, Internal Communication will develop and execute employee communication strategies tailored for the SEA region. Being the right hand person to the Country Head in Singapore, the primary goal is to inform, motivate, and inspire the SEA team, ensuring that company values, strategy, and goals are communicated effectively across all levels.
key Responsibilities
- Utilize various channels and media tools to ensure SEA employees understand the company’s vision, mission, and strategy. Convey key deliverables and their significance at a regional level.
- Partner with senior leadership across functions to develop and implement communication plans that resonate with the SEA team, covering topics such as business strategy, brand values, and DEI initiatives.
- Support HR and Brand teams by developing impactful top-down communication and facilitating bottom-up employee storytelling.
- Work closely with the SEA Senior Leadership Team to draft organizational messages and support change management initiatives, including business updates and strategy rollouts.
- Foster a culture of transparent, interactive communication through in-person engagement and regular updates that align with company values.
- Plan and execute employee events, ensuring they meet communication objectives within budget and on time.
- Engage employees, and continuously improve communication methods for internal campaigns and key events.
- Act as the key liaison for Global Corporate Communication, adapting global campaigns to align with the SEA region.
- Track and analyze communication efforts, using insights to refine strategies and improve channel effectiveness for greater impact.
skills and experience required
- Degree in Business, Communications, Journalism, or Marketing preferred.
- Highly fluent in English, with excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
- At least 6 years of relevant experience in corporate or internal communication, media relations or journalism.
- Proven experience in translating complex strategies into engaging, clear messages for employees.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with experience coordinating large-scale events and campaigns.
- Proficient in digital tools, design software (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), videography (Premier Pro, After Effects), and photography.
