- Support the businesses on all regulatory matters to ensure compliance with all MAS requirements
- Perform gap analysis and interpretation on new and updated regulations and highlight any material impact to the business
- Work closely with management and all internal stakeholders on compliance requirements
- Maintain relationships with local regulators, internal and external auditors, and all stakeholders of the business
- Update compliance manuals and policies as required
- Perform monthly, quarterly and annual reporting as required
- Identify regulatory risks and manage the risk appetite of the bank, keeping management abreast of any new updates
- Draft and submit compliance reports to senior management
skills and experience required
- Bachelor’s degree from a recognised institution
- Minimum 6 years of relevant compliance experience within a Banking environment, or within a professional service firm
- Comprehensive knowledge of business standards, policies and procedures in a financial/banking environment
- Well versed in Banking Act, Securities and Futures Act (SFA) and Financial Advisers Act (FAA)
