In this position as an Reinsurance Operations Team Lead, you will be in charge of a team of experienced Technical Accountants and oversee the administration of insurance and/or reinsurance accounts and contracts (Facultative). From establishing, maintaining contractual data, processing the insurance and/or reinsurance account bookings, claims handling and managing the related cash flow. You will also be expected to support the underwriters in administrative activities related to the underwriting process.
In order to be successful in this position, the ideal incumbent will be responsible for entries (Facultative) in the system, check and process of accounts and claims advice and clarify discrepancies of accounts and claims with underwriters/ claim experts/ cedents/brokers.
The ideal incumbent should come with some team management experience and comfortable leading/managing a team of up to 10. You would be expected to set the stage for a high-performing and successful team by providing coaching and support to direct reports, setting individual performance and development objectives and supporting employees in reaching them and reviewing their performance.
