This critical role will report to the CFO and ensure compliance with SEC regulations, Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) requirements, and other financial reporting standards. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in financial reporting, internal controls, and a proven ability to manage SOX compliance programs effectively.

Reporting to the CFO, you will be responsible for overseeing all SEC reporting, including the accurate and timely filing of quarterly and annual reports, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with regulatory changes. You will manage the Sarbanes-Oxley compliance program, ensuring the effectiveness of internal controls over financial reporting. The role also involves conducting risk assessments, enhancing internal processes, and serving as the main contact for external auditors during SEC and SOX-related audits.
Skills and experience required
- Degree holder in Finance, Accounting or relevant disciplines with professional qualifications
- Relevant years of experience in public accounting or a finance role focused on SEC and SOX compliance, with in-depth knowledge of SEC regulations, SOX Act, and IFRS
- Strong analytical and problem-solving, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
